US President Barack Obama has agreed to send additional military to Iraq in 1500 to train government and Kurdish forces to fight the "organization of the Islamic state," according to the White House announced Friday, nearly doubles the number of US troops in this country.
A statement "within our strategy to support the partners on the ground, President Obama today ordered the deployment of an additional 1500 until the military to do a non-combat role includes training and advising and assisting Iraqi forces, including Kurdish forces."
