Susan Rice Denied Cooperation with Iran
US national security adviser, Susan Rice,Denied the presence of any military cooperation or coordination between the United States and Iran to fight al-Islamic state.
Rice responded to questions on the subject of the message, which the Wall Street Journal reported that President Barack Obama addressed to the Republic in Iran Leader Ali Khamenei on addressing the state's efforts to regulate the format.
She said that the state regulation constitutes a danger to Iraq and Syria and the region and the United States and Europe, and made it clear that Washington address this threat without coordination with Tehran.
Rice asserted that there was no correlation between the efforts related to the Iranian nuclear file and the campaign against state regulation which led Washington and participate in dozens of countries and targeted regulation sites in Syria and Iraq.
The Wall Street Journal confirmed Thursday that Obama sent a letter secret mid last month to Khamenei, to emphasize the common interests of the two countries in the fight against state regulation.
The newspaper pointed out that Obama's message aimed at softening the position of religious leadership in Iran, in order to reach a positive outcome regarding the face of the international organization of the State and the ongoing talks on the Iranian nuclear file.
Obama said in his letter to Khamenei that any cooperation in the fight against state regulation will be subject to a comprehensive agreement in the nuclear field with the approach on November 24, which defined the current date for the conclusion of an agreement in this regard.
Based newspaper people said they were informed by order message, and confirmed that the Obama administration officials have refused to discuss the matter with her.
The newspaper pointed out that the letter is believed to be the fourth directed by Khamenei to Obama since he took office in 2009, pointing out that the reason for the confidentiality of these messages is Obama's desire not to anger Arab countries and US ally Israel.
